I was hospitalized and incurred medical care costs. Including the amount spent on going to the hospital, it is quite a lot. When will the money be deposited?

The High-Cost Medical Care Benefits and additional amount to be paid will be calculated based on the rezept submitted by the medical care institution via the payment fund. This amount will be paid three or more months after the medical treatment month through your company upon paying your salary. Voluntarily and continuously insured persons will be directly paid by the Health Insurance Society. Note that no application is necessary to receive these benefits.

Calculation criteria
(1) The amount will be separately calculated for each month, from its first to last day.
(2) The amount will be separately looked at for each patient, medical care institution, instance of hospitalization/going to the hospital, and medical/dental treatment.
* This only applies to the amount covered by insurance.
* This does not apply to treatment that is not covered by insurance, the amount paid for food, premium bed fees, etc.
