I have heard that health insurance does not cover injuries in car accidents. Is this true?

This is not true. Health insurance covers injuries incurred in car accidents. However, you must take note of the following: claims for damages shift from you to your health insurance society when you receive medical treatment for such injuries.
You will lose the corresponding amount of health insurance benefits in the event the third party pays for your treatment.
