The insured person died of an accident while a dependent family member was receiving medical treatment. Can this family member continue to receive the insurance benefit?

The health insurance benefit is paid to insured persons even if it is then applied to a dependent family member in need of treatment. Death of the insured person entails the cessation of the benefit; thus the dependent family member no longer receives the insurance benefit when the insured person has passed away.
